I was just browsing the blackmagic forums to see if anyone has insights encoding speeds there, and someone wrote something relevant to my original point about “pros”, which basically was something along the likes of: “encoding speed is irrelevant, it’s the last step before delivery and it’s going to be clogged by whatever effects you have on your project before hitting the hardware ecncoder limits.
